Fernando Torres

 

Fernando José Torres Sanz (born in Fuenlabrada, Spain, March 20, 1984, age 26 years) is a Spanish football player who has the nickname El Niño ("Boy Boys"). His position is striker.

Torres started his career with Atlético Madrid. Together with Atlético Madrid, Torres played since junior team. He started his professional debut on May 27, 2001 and scored his first goal a week later. In the 2003-2004 season Torres scored 21 goals after the Vicente Calderon previously considered young at age 19. During the 12-year career with Atlético, Torres has been collecting 75 goals in 174 appearances in La Liga.
